Vice President for Quality & Wellness

Why I go to work every day?

I go to work every day because I enjoy helping others. Knowing that I can make a positive difference for our residents, support our community teams, and help provide the best possible care for every person we serve is what motivates me each day.

How did I get here?

Watching my mom care for others inspired me to become a nurse – more than 30 years later, I still love caring for others and helping our communities provide compassionate, high-quality care for our residents. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of clinical and operational roles, each one strengthening my passion for serving older adults and supporting those who care for them and I’m proud to bring that passion to Silver Birch.

Why I care about this industry?

I believe every older adult deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. It’s rewarding to know that the work we do here at Silver Birch Living helps improve the lives of our residents and gives their families confidence that their loved ones are receiving the high quality care they deserve. Being part of that is what makes this career so meaningful and rewarding to me.

Who I really am…
I’m a nurse, wife, mom, and proud Nanaw. I enjoy spending time with my family, encouraging others, and always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. Caring for people has always been at the heart of who I am, and I’m grateful to be part of a team like ours where I can make a positive difference every day.
