Why I go to work every day
I am driven by the belief that strong communities start with informed policy, accessible care, and people who feel heard. I show up every day to advocate for positive change, ensuring that the places we live, work, and receive care are supported by thoughtful public policy and responsive government relations.

How did I get here?
Over the last 20+ years, I have built a career in public affairs and strategic communications through leadership roles in Illinois state government, Fortune 50 healthcare companies, and civic organizations. My work has spanned government relations, issue advocacy, media outreach, and corporate positioning for industries including healthcare, public utilities, and transportation. I have led major policy and community engagement initiatives for organizations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Humana, and Walgreens, always with a focus on increasing access to care, improving health outcomes, and supporting local communities.

Why I care about this industry
Healthcare and public policy directly impact people’s lives and well-being. I am passionate about using policy as a tool to break down barriers, address health inequities, and expand access to essential resources. Whether working on Medicaid and Medicare issues or supporting grassroots community health efforts, I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live healthier, happier lives.

Who I really am…
Public policy enthusiast, collaborator, community advocate, wife, and mom of three. I have had the honor of serving as an elected alderperson in Park Ridge and continue to support others through board service with nonprofit organizations including WINGS, Inc. and Haymarket Center. Service is my North Star, and my purpose is to help strengthen the communities my family and I proudly call home.
