2020 was an eventful year for most but we have a lot to be grateful for when looking back. Our teams at each of our communities have continued to make each resident’s experience at Silver Birch memorable. Silver Birch of Terre Haute
Our Terre Haute location enjoyed many events this past year, including a casino night, a super bowl party, countless dress-up days, and more! Residents received love and support from the community this past year with Valentine’s day and Springtime cheer cards as well as a parade with our family and friends.
Silver Birch of Michigan City
Michigan City residents at Silver Birch had a great time this year playing many rounds of bingo, bowling, puzzles, and shuffleboard! There were also many celebrations this year, including resident’s anniversaries, recognizing the heroes in the community, and a special independence day firework show.
Silver Birch at Cook Road
Silver Birch at Cook Road enjoyed many “Fantastic Friday” events and multiple spirit weeks. We celebrated heroes that work in our community as well as many holidays together. Warmer days brought outdoor parades and a mini-marathon fundraiser.
Silver Birch of Muncie
Muncie’s Silver Birch community welcomed many new residents in 2020. The year also included many craft days and socially distanced events like hallway bingo and movie nights!
Silver Birch of Hammond
Residents at the Silver Birch community in Hammond enjoyed many different socially distanced activities throughout the year. Some of their favorite activities included crafting days, dress-up days and many events involving food!
Silver Birch of Mishawaka
Our Mishawaka community residents enjoyed a wide range of activities this past year including everything from shakes for St. Patrick’s day to our very own “temporary” tattoo shop. Our residents also enjoyed socially distanced visits with their family members!
Silver Birch of Evansville
2020 at Silver Birch in Evansville was filled with many events for our residents, including a summer carnival, memorial day picnic, and many fun dress-up days!
Silver Birch of Fort Wayne
In addition to enjoying the outdoors, the Silver Birch community of Fort Wayne also held many events for its residents. Some of these events include celebrating staff milestones and residents cooking and sharing their favorite recipes.
Silver Birch of Kokomo
Dance parties and barbecues were just the beginning of fun events at the Silver Birch of Kokomo. Residents also appreciated our holiday celebration including a trunk or treat event for Halloween and a memorial day picnic.
